LIMA - CAÑETE
Our favorite river in Peru,only a 2 hour drive south from Lima. Apart from all class of rapids (I - V), it offers great crayfish, excelent wine and Pisco, and a hospitable people. The season lasts year long due to the fact that there are all kinds of rapids starting with a creek at the top, big class V, all the way to class I floating trips at the bottom. During the summer months (December - April), as the rainy season begins in the mountains, the river gets bigger and carries more sand. The rest of the year, volums of water drop, and the waters are more clear. Whethear it is a stop o0n the way south to Ica, Nasca, or Paracas, or a day trip from Lima, this is another great Green Life Adventure.(L)
Duration: ½ or full day. Two day trips are also available.

SEASON: Year round.
LEVEL: Easy - Extreme.
GRADING: Class I -V. No experience needed.
